So, who am I?
I’m Angelika and I’ve been where you are. I am that person who always has some creative project on the go. Is overflowing with creative ideas or feeling stuck. Something exciting in me feels the need to be expressed physically.
Despite my best efforts my finished work seldom lived up to what I’d imagined. I’ve spent my life taking self-development courses, trying to find what it means to be human and to understand my urges for change and creativity. At age 47 I graduated from University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and still, I could not find my 'voice' in art.
It wasn’t until I started teaching art to others that I discovered that creativity is more than a mysterious urge to paint. The images in our mind have a message just for us. Waiting to be heard and seen.
You just need to ask the right questions. Then observe what you see and feel. Painting can be a bridge from spirit-to-mind-to body-to-canvas.
Your finished work becomes a touchstone to your own wisdom, reflected back to you.
And that’s what I want for you.
So, thank you for allowing me to be your guide on this journey through your imagination and onto your painted canvas.
